panta rei

This sculpture was inspired by the grek philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus' sentence "panta rei", which means "everything flows". The tortoise is a metaphore of time, which goes by slowly but unstopable, carrying both nature beings and man's creation, bound to the change, and relentlessly, to perish.

This was made for a catalan sculpture contest, and, unfortunately, it wasn't chosen. But I feel pretty proud of it hope you like it too.
